Energetically reprieved
By the traffic that surrounds
Every tire that forebodes
An accident of circuitry
A heart attack no one can grieve
Carefully reintroducing
Drops of love like alchemy
One drip at a time
Streamed into the vein mainline
Running fast beyond the sordid
Greed of unjust wars
On shame and lust
Swole up into a canyon of trust
Here comes the sun
Say hello to the light
Say goodbye to the dark
Let the fangs of the perfidious
Past slither away in the grass
Of history gone by
No matter how many decades
Former fate
Previous destiny
New bridge
One broken window
Is another opening
For light
