Elevator

Imbrication on the pathway
We climbed into the elevator
Before the door completely shut
We were travelling down
Softly in a glided car
No fear for falling out but
Not sure where we were going
We landed at the bottom
Where the carriage shifted out
And started traveling
Down the streets as both of us
Jumped out we found our way
Back to the top of the hill
Also to an abandoned
Phone line where to warn the owners
There would be some disrepair
When they returned to their
Building and in proclamation
We called the fire department
They should know too that
There’s a runaway elevator box
The greater the work
The more terrible the storms
What bright opposition
Under the nose of fortune
Breathing in these
Unpredictable winds
