A generous glass to hold
The contents of my heart
Blue tiled star
Black sky
Fair amount of feelings
Wavering carelessly
In the air
Tip the head back
Warm water poured over
Heavy blanket of heat
Silver lining
Forgive me for wanting more
Needing less only
To hold my breath
Requesting clarification for
All future endeavors
Nothing sour quite yet
Blue jeans and momentary
Strings attached
Wet the whistle on
Cloudy days
