Like a dark tide
Wading low out in the distance
There was no comfort
To keep me on the shore
So the dark blue
Electric feud
Calls no one
The bleak empty sea
Of our past memories
Swept away with today
In a boat of irresolvable
Friendship
Not even the
Illuminating scent
Of our past
Could be unsunk
Whatever moon was meant
Whatever time was spent
Whatever sun descends
On the horizon
Of what we once possessed
We will no longer commend
For what we cannot apprehend
To close the door on one love
Is to open up the heart
To another one

Counting petals

Sprite bones and a spark

I could create a post
About the gossiping stars
I could make a toast
To those lips and the heat

Laying on a bed of warm crystals
Dreaming of fire
On a pillow of mercy

Our bodies look good
Glowing neon bright
Like towered searchlights
Scanning the sky
Alerting the planets
To our existence
In case our significance
Has gone unnoticed
By the twinkling lights
Our glittering skin
Blinding all the monsters
In sight with the fright
Of our love
Illuminate me
Overwhelm me
Cast your burdens on
The shores of my heart
I will consume your pains
Round them up and

Shrouded explosion
Of reprieve

How did you break into
My chambers glistening ants
Feasting on my heart
Solitary path lambent
With somber strides
Gliding up my legs
An enterprise of sacred light
Despite the solo climb
Remains a less treacherous
Vine to propel and travel on
Widespread enveloping
The sky before we die
A theater of mystery
And a mouthful of clarity
I am defenseless
Against your wishes
I wear our shared emotions
Like a coat that I can
Take on and off
Too much to handle
To cold without it
It could be a windfall
Of feelings to be catching
Before we truly know
What it feels like to be in pain
If it’s in the absence of a love
We are unsure how to feel

The kissing bells
Circular fire blooms up

Sun Rise

I can see the sun rise

What a bittersweet flame
Warms the heart

Like stretching for the sky
To feel the blue

I can see the amber light
Glowing round the edges

Your ivory smile on the
Ridge of my lashes

To befriend the breeze
Whisking over and around me
Highlights of gazing yellow
Fluorite gemlike streams
Glistening wet your eyes
Are shining in the night
And though the outside whites
May be reflected in
A moon like serenade
A quiet horizon of gold
Remains in flames
