Sensational times
Escape every moment
I feel handcuffed to a lonely
Repertoire but I’m still willing
To perform stunts
A trapeze jump into
Your charms
Balance on the edge of a cliff

Ends of the Earth stuff

Homage to the heart
An allegiance to love
I’ll hand out programs to
Your talented sideshow
A circus I would happily join
Any day ambition
You are an artist of amour
Vaudevillian painter and lover
Restrain myself no more
Claim the beauty of lovemaking
It would be a sad grave
Without you next to me

The way I cherish your magician
Ashore the antics of a score
Tricks and music
A worthwhile orchestra
Medium to my third eye
I’ve knitted you a sweater
In the shape of
Every fulfillment
Also to make you feel better
When you’re down

You are the sound
My heartaches sing for
A Houdini of love
And star crafter
I rise up for moments like you

Because

We cannot ever guarantee

Establishment
Based in popular
Coat colors
That look awful together
But keep you warm

Chickens that befriend
A self sacrificing
Meal to uphold
Their true bonds
In friendship are
Rooster worthy
The egg came first

Past particles of
Adhesives that never
Disappear but
Are occasionally good
For hanging things on

Even though it’s cold outside
It sure looks fashionable
Why don’t cold weather folks
Have clothing lines?

I have a thought
Lost in my nose
And my finger
Cannot reach it
The doctor says
It’s just my imagination
And that’s exactly why
I’m trying to find it

Laughing
Caring for our home together
Breakthroughs
Flowers are growing

Arguing
We antagonize one another
We repeat the same lessons frequently
Trees are snapping

Stressing
We have contention
When we need a simple resolution
Cookies are burning

Confused
We cannot feel as close
As you are with your family
Memories are evaporating

But somehow…

Loving
We find each other
In the middle of a mesmerizing pool
Maddened rapids are subsiding

Is an empath
She isn’t picking up on
My signals

Assuming incorrectly
She doesn’t ask
She is making
A decision
To get better

Might as well
I mean hell
It’s much more comfortable
In therapeutic congregation
Than having
An uncomfortable
Conversation about it
In real life
Truth serum
Is too blatant

No one wants to be called out

Nowhere to hide
From the furrow

Embrace the woman
You’re becoming
And not the child
You used to be

Lest ye burrow

Caught up in wanting
To do something about it
Rather than just doing it is

A contradiction
If you’re tongue tied with
The people standing
In front of you
Who want to understand you
Who want to love you

Help me find the cure for you
Like a medicine woman

My grandma Rose
May have died
But she’s really still alive
Still here on earth
Still breathing out
In her own way

Inside my heart

I wish the Universe
Could say
Not at this time
This one’s not mine

But her hands were needed
For gardening the skies
Expressing thoughts
In clouds floating by

Propagating love

It makes no sense
How I could be
Here on earth without you
Experiencing life
When life has always been
About you

Honest intention
Simple truth
Big imagination

It seems impossible
That I could be zoetic
Waking everyday

Without your physical presence
